From the Field to the Roof—Why I Started B2 Exterior Solutions

Hey there, I’m Brandon Brown-Dukes, and I started B2 Exterior Solutions with a simple mission: to give homeowners a roofing company they can actually count on.

Before roofing, my life was all about football. I grew up right here in Winter Park, Florida, where I played football and ran track at Winter Park High. We had a great team—won back-to-back district titles and only lost one game in my final two seasons. My senior year, I rushed for over 1,100 yards and 16 touchdowns, and caught two more.

That success opened the door to play at Mercyhurst College, where I earned:

  • All-PSAC West First Team honors three times

  • Don Hansen All-Super Region One honors three times

  • And was named PSAC West Freshman of the Year in 2012

After college, I lived out a dream: I got to suit up in the NFL, playing for the Dallas Cowboys, Pittsburgh Steelers, and New York Jets.

But eventually, it was time for a new chapter—and I knew I wanted to come back home and build something that made a real difference.

Why Roofing? Why Me?

I started B2 Exterior Solutions because I saw a gap. Too many homeowners felt left in the dark when it came to roofing—confused by the process, frustrated by poor communication, and unsure who to trust.

I knew I could do better.

I take the values I learned from football—hard work, accountability, discipline, and preparation—and apply them to every project we take on. I’m hands-on with every job, and I make sure my clients are treated with respect and honesty every step of the way.
